Joy to Your World!

Joy to Your World! Have you spotted the little Boxwood Wreath in both the Annual and Autumn/Winter Catalogues? They are both so cute, and perfect for Christmas Crafting. My first thought was to just use the Iridescent Boxwood Wreath version with Balmy Blue and Sparkle Glimmer Paper. Then I thought I would change the other colours and use the original version too. Both versions are the cutest 4 x 4″ cards, which I love at Christmas for some reason.

Joy Layering Alphabet

I used the Layering Alphabet Dies for the J and Y and cut them from the centre of the Glimmer Paper Mats – no wastage! The background is one of the Bokeh Dot Stamps and creates a great star burst. This is ideal to then add a few rhinestones to, just add them to the middle of the starbursts. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the Boxwood Wreath element, and don’t be mean with them!

The stamping used the Stamparatus. I wanted to add just the ‘to your World’ part of the Joy to your World’ stamp in the Sincerely Santa Stamp Set. I find the Stamparatus is the best way to do this AND keep everything in the right place, and straight. Adding washi tape to the part you DON’T want to stamp before inking up, then remove the tape and stamp. Perfect!
