All The Good Things Koi Carp. Why did I wait to get this stamp set? I kept seeing it in the Annual Catalogue and knew I wanted it, but it never seemed to get to the top of the list. Running my hobby as a business does mean that I have to keep my orders within a set budget. Well the 30th Anniversary Stamp sale meant that I could get it, and a couple of other sets! 15% off AND my Demonstrator Discount, yes that put it in budget. And it certainly is worth it. Such a fun set.

It is part of the DistINKtive line, which means with very little effort you can get amazing dimension from just one stamp. I chose to use a few colours, applied with sponge daubers to get the mottled look that so many Koi Carp have. Then I spritzed the card with some Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint diluted in Rubbing Alcohol. Just a very few drops of shimmer paint are needed to get the most amazing effect. Remember to shake the paint pot and the spritzer before you use them.

A few mats onto a card base and the whole card came together really easily. Like I said, very little effort and you get a fantastic card.
