This is the Stamp Set I was Not Getting!!

This is the Stamp Set I was Not Getting!! Which set is it? It is the brand new Spirited Snowmen. And guess what? I LOVE IT!!!!

Spirited Snowmen Wobble Card

Of course the next obvious question is why, if I was not going to get it I now have it. Well, there are a couple of reasons, but the main one is that I think it is one that we will use at our next Team Training day. But the other one is that I bought some Mini Action Wobbles/Springs on Amazon. The image on this card just cries out to be wobbly!

There are not too many products for this project. Other than the cardstock and stamps there are just a couple of ink pads, some Stampin’ Write Markers, Shimmer Paint, Gems and a piece of scrap paper! OK, there is a bit more to it than that, but not that much and the result is just such fun. I can’t stop making the snowman jump around! Can you imagine the reaction when you send it to someone?

I stamped the snowman in Memento Tuxedo Black. This dries water-resistant, so is fine for using with watercolour as long as you leave it to dry first. I used a mixture of Frost White and Balmy Blue Ink applied with an Aqua Painter to colour the shadows on the snowman. I added some ‘plain’ Frost White to the front of the snowman. I coloured the features using the 2018-2020 InColour Stampin’ Write Markers. The snow background is simply some Balmy Blue Ink sponged onto the card mat to form the peaks, then some snow stamps.

Spirited Snowmen Wobble Card

I fussy cut the snowman and added the ‘wobble’ to the back before adding it to the front of the card. The sentiment and mat are both Balmy Blue. I added some Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets and the card was done. And such a fun card it is. I hope you agree and will give it a go. Are there some stamp sets you would use wobbles on? Do tell me which they are, I would love to give them a go.
