Peaceful Noel Wreath – Shaded Spruce and Poppy Parade. The Peaceful Noel stamp set is part of the Joyous Noel Suite, which is such a beautiful Suite, with a really soft and sophisticated colour pallet. Sometimes you need to just look at the basics and ignore outside influences. Which is what I did for this card. I really like the result, and it is not a ‘classic’ colour palette.
I used Shaded Spruce, Poppy Parade and Soft Sea Foam and the combination is one I think I will be using again. It seems to work really well. The Shaded Spruce and Poppy Parade are definitely ‘front and centre’, but the Soft Sea Foam is a great filler.
You may remember that I had a couple of posts recently covering how to make your own Wreath Builder Template, so I wanted to revisit that idea. The Peaceful Noel Stamp Set is perfect for this technique. It has lots of smaller stamps, which is perfect for this. I used 4 for the wreath and stamped with 2 at a time. It does take a little patience, but the result is such fun.
Add some Poppy Parade Mini Striped Ribbon, a sentiment on a punched circle and some Red Rhinestones, and the result is stunning (she says immodestly!). I did 2 versions with opposite colour ways for the mat and card and like them both, but I think the Poppy Parade cardbase version is my favourite. Which do you prefer??
