Fabulous Frosted Shimmery Gable Box Duo. At the Team Event this weekend there was the most amazing Raffle you can imagine, and all Stampin’ Up! Everything from a BigShot to Catalogues, Stamp Tins to Ribbon. AMAZING. I was lucky enough to win some of the Lustrous White Mini Gable Boxes. I have been eyeing these for a while, so am thrilled to get a chance to ‘play’.

They are really white and shimmery, so I instantly thought of the Frosted Floral Suite. The paper is on a Whisper White background, so matches perfectly. The boxes are exactly 12″ around too, so just the right size for a piece of Designer Series Paper to be wrapped around. The straight sides of the boxes are 2″ tall, so cutting a piece of Designer Series Paper is just so easy. I love how Stampin’ Up! think about these things.

I decided to use the matching First Frost Stamps and matching dies. The design of the boxes is exactly the same, but one is monotone, just using Gray Grantite. The other is a riot of colour using just some of the colours from the Designer Series Paper. Which do you prefer?
