Tiny Image – Huge Impact. Blended Seasons Card

Tiny Image – Huge Impact. Blended Seasons Card. Oh, and a little tip along the way. I am loving the Blended Seasons Limited Edition Stamp Set. It really does cover so many of your crafting needs.

Tiny Image Huge Impact. Blended Seasons Card

I wanted to take one of the really tiny images from the set and use that as the focal point for a card and was drawn to the ears of wheat. Our family crest is an Ear of Wheat and the ring on the little finger of my left hand has that on it. This is probably why I was drawn to that image in particular. It is such a beautifully drawn image and could be symbolic of so many things. Friendship, Love, Thanksgiving, general Autumn to list but a few.

I simply stamped the tiny image on a scrap of Whisper White using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Once the ink was fully dry, I used Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Soft Suede and Ivory Blends to colour the image in. Now, the tip I have is that there actually is a difference in the final result when you layer up Blends depending on the order. For the grain, I used Soft Suede and then added Daffodil Delight, this made a different shade than the other way round. Strange, but true. Also, I used the Ivory to soften the lines of shading on the stems. Watch the video to make more sense of that waffle!!!

I mounted the stamped image on Copper Foil and then Crushed Curry, both had only the smallest border and none of it was measured, it was just done by eye and with scissors. Some Copper Thread behind that and mounted on Dimensionals, add a sentiment at the bottom of a Pumpkin Pie cardbase and a Tiny Image stands well on its own. I hope you agree it is a Tiny Image but a Huge Impact!

As I mentioned, the stamp set is a Limited Edition and only available in August or while stocks last. It is brilliantly priced to take account of the Bonus Days offer, you just have to add a couple of items to get a Bonus Days coupon that will save you money in September.

If your order is over £25 (plus P&P), please use the Hostess Code. For every £30 you spend in one order AND use the Host Code, you will earn a Sunflower Reward. Spend £60 in one order and earn 2 Sunflower Rewards. Earn 10 Sunflower Rewards and you can choose £30 of product of your choice. Full details are on the Hostess Code Club Page. This month’s Host Code is:

Make sure to use the Code to share in the Hostess Rewards for this month AND become a VIP as well as earning Sunflower Rewards. If your order is over £150 (plus P&P), please don’t use the Hostess Code as you will get to pick your own rewards, but don’t worry, you will still become a VIP Reward Member.

Bonus Days are BACK. That means you can earn coupon codes to redeem between 1 September! If you need a refresher on this promotion, here’s how it works: For every £45 you spend between 1-31 August (before shipping and handling), you earn a £4.50 Bonus Days coupon code that you can redeem in September. That means you can get a discount on your Christmas Crafting!!!!

The Starter Kit is ALWAYS the best deal in the Catalogue and great value at just £99 for your choice of £130 of products (with no additional P&P).
