Blended Seasons Meets Vegas Gold. Have you had a look at the Blended Seasons Stamp Set yet? It really does cover all the seasons with just one stamp set, so is the most amazing value. Plus as it is only available in August, it has a certain cache about it. But then add some of the, soon to be available, Shimmer Paint in Vegas Gold, and you have Autumn sewn up.
I love the look of the falling leaves on this card, but the gold paint really does make the card, and you need the smallest amount. In fact the whole card uses very few products, but is just right for the coming months. Although I like to think that Autumn is some weeks away still, when we have days like we have had this last weekend, it seems just a little too close.
After the weeks of heat wave, the countryside near us has been crying out for some rain, so we should not complain, but I am missing the warmer days. I have even had to dig out a couple of thin jumpers – but I am still keeping the shorts on, it will take more than a bit of rain to get me out of those just yet.
