Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper Catalogue Case Card. With the Buy 3 Get a 4th FREE offer on throughout July, I am really trying to get that DSP cut up and used. I want to use up as much as possible so I can buy some more, but I also want you to see just what a fantastic addition to a card it can be.

I decided to give one of the ideas in the catalogue a go, and there are so many fantastic ideas to choose from. I opted for one of the Tropical Escape samples on page 120, but as I didn’t want to get my sewing machine out, I decided to replace the stitching in the sample with some embossing. Using the largest scalloped Layering Squares die and the new Embossing Mats, I got the look I was after. I used just one piece of the DSP, but cut a square from it and flipped it over to act as the background behind the die cut frame. I love my DSP too much to use a second piece when I can get away with using 2 sides at once – I am a crafter after all!

I am loving the final cards, and the Tropical Escape DSP is just amazing. There are so many fantastic patterns that can be used for so many occasions, including the ever ellusive ‘Masculine Card’. Just change the colour of the base card and you have so many options. Remember that the back of the pack of DSP, and the catalogue information, list the colours that are used in every pack of DSP.
