Petal Promenade Scraps Card. I have collected lots of little scraps of the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper over the past couple of weeks, so it is time to get them onto a card. I started by looking at the colours used in the paper – always easy as they are on the back of the pack and in the catalogue. I had one piece of paper I wanted to use as the main mat, so from the choice of colours, I chose Blushing Bride for the card base and Fresh Fig for the mat. I chose some of the scraps to feature on my card and then cut them to reasonable sizes. This is a card for using up scraps, so nothing precise here.
If you watch the video, you will see that I did one of my not so great jobs of stamping the sentiment, so it was a real case of third time lucky!! But they are scraps, so are for using up. As was the piece of Very Vanilla Polka Dot Tulle ribbon, which happily fitted on the third piece of paper as well as the first.
I added some of the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins to add a little bit of bling to the card. Although I am not sure it needs much, the sequins did make it that bit special and certainly added to the final version.
