Garden Impressions Suite – and Another CASE the Catalogue Card. OK, I am going to be really honest here. When I first saw the Garden Impressions Suite it left me cold! How wrong was I! The Garden Impressions Suite is amazing and so flexible. Perfect for all sorts of cards, and don’t get me started on the dies, which are AMAZING (come back on Wednesday to see some of those!) The stamps are almost idiot proof, which is just as well if I am using them!!
I have taken one of the Garden Impressions Suite cards on page 128 for my inspiration today. I really love how quick and easy it was to put together, even though it went a bit wrong at first. In case you have never watched any of my videos, I don’t do any editing at all, so you get to see EXACTLY how the card is made, in real time. I will die cut in advance sometime, just to save a bit of time and to stop you getting bored!
I love the zing of the colours in today’s card. I think Mango Melody and Pacific Point at great foils for each other. They are almost exactly opposite on the Colour Wheel, which is part of why they zing. Choosing opposite colours is a great way to give a card impact. If I were to make the card again, I would possibly add a mat under the stamped layer, but I am not unhappy with how it turned out.
