Tuscan Vineyard Masculine Card. I have been saving this card for over a week now, as this is the card I made for my Father to celebrate Father’s Day. As he and I were both away on the day, but he was coming to stay with us this last weekend, it made sense that I saved the card and gift for his visit.
I really enjoy using Stampin’ Write Markers to colour in stamps before actually stamping. It is a great way to add colour where you want it. You can then use a Blender Pen to move some of the colour around, and to add additional shading and colour just where you want it. This is such a great way to make a really quick card. The Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper is perfect to use as a mat for this, it adds just enough texture, but not so much as to detract from the stamping. I added some Linen Thread and a few Metallic Pearls just to lift the card a little.
The Tuscan Vineyard Stamp Set is a great set for masculine cards, but of course is ideal for all wine lovers. I think it is a set that is slightly overlooked, but should be given a little more focus.
As I am writing this post after gifting the card to my Father, I can assure you that he thought it was very pretty and was fascinated by how I added the colour.
