My Team Event Swap Card

My Team Event Swap Card. Yesterday I gave you a quick look at the card swaps I received at the Team Event at the weekend, but did not show you the one I had made. There was a good reason – I had given them all away!! But I also wanted to show you how I made it, so that is what I am doing today.

Given that I made about 40 of these for the weekend, you would think I would be able to make another one in my sleep. Well if you watch the video, you will wonder. I think I managed to make a real meal out of it, but that’s me! No planning, just flying by the seat of my pants!!

I used the wonderful Varied Vases Stamp set and Punch Bundle – so saved myself 10% into the bargain! I added just 3 ink pads, a couple of sponge daubers and some extra punches (although you could use dies) and that was pretty much it. I did add some Wink of Stella, but that is totally optional (but why would you leave it out??!!) For the swap cards I used the Stamparatus for ALL of the stamping, which saved so much time.

Now I just need Stampin’ Up! to invent a Dimensional Back Remover, and making swaps will be a breeze! I hope you like my swap card, I was really happy with how it turned out. It could be altered for all sorts of occasion and all colour schemes, so is a really useful one to have on your list of possible projects.
