Lovely Floral Embossing and Debossing Team Challenge

Lovely Floral Embossing and Debossing Team Challenge. I am really lucky that my Team is growing now and I have team members in almost all four corners of the country. The challenge with that is how to keep your Team engaged and feeling like a Team. I use Facebook as much as I can, with Team Meetings using Facebook Live. But I wanted to do something more that would also help to get them sharing their crafting in the Team Facebook Group a little more. Along came the Team Challenge idea.

I would love to say that this is an original idea, but that would be a lie. But, as you know, I am always happy to jump on a passing bandwagon, so this is what I have done here. Each month I send out a small pack of supplies to all of my Team. They all get exactly the same things, and I try to keep a set for me too. In addition to the contents of the pack, they are allowed to add:

• Whisper White Cardstock
• Very Vanilla Cardstock
• Any stamping
• Any ink
• Heat or dry embossing
• Any punching and/or Diecuts

This month they each got a couple of 4 x 6″ pieces of the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, half a sheet of each of So Saffron and Rich Razzleberry, a length of Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon and a length of Tranquil Tide Twine from the Share What you Love Embellishment Kit. They have until later this month to make and share their projects, then I will pick a winner at random, who will receive a prize from me with their next month’s pack.

I do feel that I should make a few projects as well, so here are a couple to start with. The Rich Razzleberry card was CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) from the project that Helen Broxap demonstrated when she and I were at the Eden Centre a couple of weeks ago. This is simply a pice of cardstock embossed with the Lovely Floral folder and then white ink added on top.  I then thought I would try adding colour with a sponge brayer on the debossed side of the Lovely Floral. It took me a couple of goes to get it right, but once I did!! Love it!!
