Easy Layered Lilypad Lake Crane and Lilypad Sunset

Easy Layered Lilypad Lake Crane and Lilypad Sunset. You will remember that I made a few projects with this Bundle a while ago. Well I suddenly realise that I have yet to ink up both the Crane and the Lilypad itself. Time to put that right.

Lilypad Lake Crane and Lily Pad Sunset

I used Shimmery White Card for the feature piece and stamped the wave in Balmy Blue full and second generation, off set a little. I then repeated the process with Soft Seafoam. I added a Post-it at the top of the sea stamp and added the sun in Pineapple Punch so only the top half stamped. A quick swish across the stamped images with an Aqua Painter and the feature piece was ready to be set aside to dry. Time to stamp the Crane and Lilypad in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colour with Stampin’ Blends before die cutting.

I layered the feature piece on Pineapple Punch and Balmy Blue before adhering to a Soft Seafoam card base. I cut each of the mats after I had adhered them to the feature piece, cutting with just a tiny margin. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Crane and the Lilypad and off set them against the stamped piece.

A simple sentiment stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, die cut with the larger sentiment die, but by passing it through the BigShot twice, I cut the card to just the right size for the sentiment. This is a great way to extend how you use your dies.
