Floral Statements – Hello Again. It seems a while since I last used this stamp set, but it has carried over to the new Annual Catalogue, so I had to break it out again and remind us all of just how fantastic it is.

I have changed it up a bit this time by stamping the ‘Hello’ on Glossy White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black (I used the Stamparatus, stamp positioning tool from Stampin’ Up! – it is like the Misti, but better). By using the Stamparatus I was able to make sure that I got a really black image. Once it was really dry I coloured it using Stampin’ Blends.

It is worth remembering that the Glossy Cardstock does not give you quite so much time to move the ink from the pens, so if you are going to try this, and I encourage you to do so, you may want to colour each flower/petal separately so the ink is still ‘damp’ when you add the next colour. In the video, for speed, I used each colour and then went back with the next – certainly quicker, but not such a perfect finish.
