Artistically Asian Meets Gray Granite for a Match Made in Heaven. Even better, Gray Granite is a perfect clour to use with Sahara Sand, which has never been my favourite Neutral. Put Sahara Sand with Gray Granite and it is just amazing!

I thought it would be fun to make a project that combined retiring, carry over and new products all in one. Having been at the Eden Centre for the past couple of days at a Stampin’ Up! Pop Up Event, it needed to be a quick card. Gray Granite fills a gap in the previous colours, a warm grey. I have always liked soft blue and warm grey (it is a great cool/warm juxtaposition) so decided to use some of the Soft Sky Classic Weave Ribbon on the card.

Because I used Early Espresso for the card itself, I added a Very Vanilla Inner Mat, also stamped with Gray Granite. I love adding some stamping on the inside of the card. I think it helps to bring the inside and outside together, particularly if you use one of the same stamps, as I have here. The final touch was a few of the Glitter Clear Enamel shapes. They add just a little ‘something’ to the card, without being too intrusive, what a shame they are going.

Very Vanilla for the stamping mat, Gray Granite Ink, Sahara Sand Mat, Soft Sky Ribbon and then an Early Espresso Card Base. Subtle, soft and classic.
