This weekend sees a number of Birthdays for our family and friends. My husband and a very good friend of ours both have birthdays, and they are both tomorrow. So today I am bring you the box we are using to wrap the present we have got for our friend.
If you have joined me before you probably already know that I love to take something really quite ordinary and turn it into something special. We bought our friend a book that has a theme that we think he will enjoy – it is a mystery set around bell ringing, which is something he has taken up recently. But a book can look a little boring when it is wrapped up, but make a box for it and it becomes something special, in my opinion.
I have said it before, but making a box for a specific item is just basic maths. All you need do is measure in each of three directions and then use these to calculate the size of the card you need and where to score. As you will see in the video, if your measurements and maths is correct, you will get a perfect fit on your box every time. The only trick is to make sure that you either add 1/16″ to the lid, or take it off the bottom so that they sit well together, then do all your scoring by turning the card.
I think the final box is perfect for a chap, and the True Gentleman Suite is going to be missed; we don’t generally have many products aimed at male projects, so this one has been a nice option for us. This suite is not going to be available in the new annual catalogue, so this is a perfect time to stock up on it, before it goes!!
REMEMBER, for
every £25 you spend in April AND use the Hostess Code, you will be
entered into a draw to win the Many Marvellous Markers, so if you
place orders of £50, you will get 2 entries, £75, you will get 3
entries etc. BUT if you place a single order of over £150 and opt to
be your own Hostess (which means you pick how to spend your Rewards)
you will only get ONE entry into the draw. Please note that this is a
gift from me, and is non-returnable. The usual Customer Gifts will
not be effected by the Prize Draw, so if you use the Hostess Code you
will get a share of the Rewards, as usual. EVERYONE who shops with me
will receive a handmade card and gift in the middle of the following
month, regardless of how much you spend.
your order is over £25 (plus P&P), please use the Hostess Code:
share in the Hostess Rewards for this month AND become a VIP. If your
order is over £150 (plus P&P), please don’t use the Hostess Code
as you will get to pick your own rewards, but don’t worry, you will
still become a VIP Reward Member.
Starter Kit is ALWAYS the best deal in the Catalogue and great value
at just £99 for your choice of £130 of products (with no additional
P&P). Once you are a Member of this great Family, you get a
discount on your future purchases, or an income from sales you make
to other people; Win,Win Right?
