I have a sneaky suspicion that I am not the only person whole has missed the lovely rose bough in the Lots of Lavender Stamp Set. Do you know, I had not inked it up until I designed this project!
What a waste of a great little stamp, and I love that you can frame a card front with it so easily. The stamp set is a 2-step stamp set, but is so easy to line up, it is a breeze to put this card together. The colour for the main rose is not meant to line up perfectly, which makes it all so easy and I think takes the pressure of getting it ‘perfect’, which means it is more likely to come out looking right.
I used the Lovely Words Dies for the focal point. These are meant to be cut into the middle of a pice of card, but it is very simple to just cut the word that you want to use. I added multi-purpose adhesive sheet to the back of the card so it was simple to layer up the two die cuts and stick them together.
