Welcome to the UK (excluding Scotland) August Bank Holiday. Traditionally today will be cold and wet, so I am hoping that we may be able to buck that trend and have some reasonable weather today, not least of all because the summer so far this year has been……dreadful. We had some extraordinarily hot days very early on, but most of July and August have been cool and wet.
With this in mind, it is great to use some of the amazing Petal Garden Designer Series Paper in today’s project, bringing a little bit of summer into our lives. I have teamed it with more baby cuteness and the Moon Baby stamp set. I swore I would not buy this set, but with a few events coming up that are aimed at younger children and their parents and carers, it just fell into my shopping basket. I have to admit, I should have got it sooner, it is so cute.
I love using our Watercolour Pencils and the Blender Pen, although the key to these is to make sure that the stamped images are very dry before you start. I used Basic Black for these cards, but you could use Memento too, just as long as you leave everything to dry – I stamp one day and colour the following. hope you enjoy today’s project and have a great day, whether it is a Bank Holiday where you are or not!
