As today is Thursday, at Old Stables Crafts it must be Thanks on Thursday. And it is, so here is the contents of a little box I just received – my Autumn/Winter Pre-Order, and this is just a small selection of what is in this mini (how can I call it mini??) Catalogue. I really hope this whets your appetite for what is coming on 1st September – or sooner if you decide that this is the perfect time to join my Team, and would like to get your Christmas Supplies for less (you can add items from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue to your Starter Kit – what’s not to love about that!!
Today is also another day for me to share more of why I love doing what I do. Making the ordinary extraordinary is of course a great place to start. But one of my main joys is showing others that they can too. For years, part of my job has been to train others, but in really grown up serious stuff. I always enjoyed that part of my career, but having trained in Fashion Design, working in the City of London lacked the creativity I need in my life. It took a serious illness to make me realise that.
Now I have walked away from City life. I live in the country, on the edge of a small village, with my husband and three cats and I do this. All day! I teach classes, I run Coffee and Card events at one of our local Garden Centres, I have stands around the area selling what I make, and of course, I make tutorial videos. I do all of this because I love being creative, sharing that creativity far and wide, and the freedom working for myself brings.
Not everyone wants to run Stampin’ Up! as a business, and that is absolutely fine. Many just want to enjoy the friendship they get from being a member of a craft group, and the discount that brings. Some, in fact most, want something in between. All of these options are available to anyone who wants to get £130 of top quality craft supplies for just £99, delivered free to your door.
If you are even slightly tempted, please contact me to talk this through.
