I wasn’t sure about the Wood Texture Papers when I first saw them, in fact I decided that they would never get into my craft room; clearly I changed my mind at some point, and I am delighted I did, because I love them. They are a lot more versatile than I thought they would be and, as you will see from the cards I made today, they can embrace masculinity, femininity and all points in between!
These cards each take just one piece of the 6×6 paper, but use both sides. As Stampin’ Up! designed them with coordinating patterns on each side, this means you get a subtle difference, but one that still works really well.
I am really pleased with how each of the cards looks just that little bit different and uses up pretty much the whole of the sheet without that slightly annoying strip left over. My favourite? I think it has to be the one I made on camera. I love that paper I thought was only going to be for men, has made a really pretty, soft card.
