I have been looking forward to making something with the Home Life Bundle, and I now have the perfect excuse, the Global Design Project Colour Challenge. This week we are using Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party; an interesting mix of colours, but I think I have smashed it!
My main concern was that Berry Burst is a very strong colour against the other two, but I think the key is to not use too much and to use a 2nd generation for some of the stamping. Modesty aside, I am very pleased with the result. On the video I have used a more traditional colour scheme with Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz. Both versions use clear embossing, but with coloured ink – watch the video for how to get great results with this.
I have listed all of the items I used, but don’t panic about the long list too much, because it is for BOTH cards!
