If in doubt, CASE!! This is definitely worth remembering when you need a quick project and are lacking inspiration. I love that the Stampin’ Up! catalogue provides us with so many projects to use as jumping off points. This project is one of those, but my twist on it.
I used a Crumb Cake Base with Soft Suede and Very Vanilla Mats. I was going for a twist on Sepia tones, so used Crumb Cake ink for the background text (stamped off first) and the ‘Thank You’ with Always Artichoke and Blushing Bride for the floral image (using Stampin’ Write Markers) and the border strip. Some Linen Thread behind the sentiment and all done. Quick, Easy and Beautiful!

I love to see my favorite neutrals in action, including the linen thread. The little pop of pink makes a sweet card for a female. Stick the goose from Wetlands on it and you'd have a perfect guy card. I agree–the catalog is always a good place to look for ideas.

I can not get enough of the neutrals, my 'if in doubt/go to' has to be those colours, I thought the Blushing Bride was just about neutral enough to compliment, rather than detract. I LOVE the idea of using the Wetlands Goose for a guy card (sorry to see this set go though!). It is Father's Dau inm the UK later this month, so I may use that for my Father. Lx
